General Information
"Italian in Florence",
a school of Italian language and culture in Florence, offers
intensive courses all year.
The courses aim at supplying the students, in a short period
of time, with a linguistic knowledge which allows them to
hold a conversation and read both books and newspapers.
Our courses are based on an innovative approach that provides
the student with a solid grammatical basis and improves
their comprehension and communication skills.
The school is located in
an old monastery dating back to the XVII century, in the
historical centre of Florence, near Piazza Duomo, Piazza
Signoria and the central train station. "Italian in
Florence" is part of the International Centre for Students
"G. La Pira" a no profit organization founded
in 1978, officially recognised by the President of the Tuscan
Region.
All teachers have an extensive
experience in teaching Italian as a second language in a
multicultural environment and are professionally qualified
(DITALS certification for teachers of Italian as a second
language, University of Siena). The course includes didactic
and guided visits to the most characteristic places of the
city. |
